Villa Le Mimosa in the Languedoc region of France

Le Mimosa is a comfortable family home and very well equipped throughout. This year we have upgraded the kitchen with a new island unit and sideboard offering a great food preparation area and more storage.
The villa has a private secluded swimming pool with sun loungers and a large patio and is fenced for safety. Planting around the pool provides colour and pockets of natural shade. It is a peaceful, tranquil area. The villa terrace offers stunning views across the valley and has a built in barbecue with plenty of room for al fresco dining. This terrace is sun soaked first thing in the morning and offers shade is the later hotter part of the day. We have a selection of adult and children’s mountain bikes and helmets which you are welcome to borrow. We can direct you to different levels of ride depending on age and experience. Most rides start at the house, one of the most popular being the track to Soubes for omelette and salad with a cold beer at the local bar, sitting under the plane trees. The table tennis table is great for family tournaments and we also have boules and a large selection of books, games, DVDs and CDs. Just down the road is the newly resurfaced tennis court for local residents. There are rackets and balls at the house for those feeling energetic. For play or for sleeping out there are two pop up tents which can be put up in the garden. We have plenty of spare bedding and a couple of sleeping mats. All the beds thought the villa have comfortable mattresses. An English speaking lady, Dawn, and her French husband Jerome, look after the house for us and live close by. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are on hand to deal with anything that arises during your stay. |
