A time trap with a view that stills the soul. ...SH Fluxton The two things I appreciated the most I think were the glorious views especially when sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine and picking at olives… and the completely unspoilt setting of St Etienne. We have visited France many times and many different areas but this area was new to us. Very French. We particularly liked walking ‘the circuit’ and when you come across the chateau nestled in the trees, it looks like something out of a fairy-tale and you almost expect Rapunzel to be letting down her golden hair! We enjoyed picking warm figs from the tree… Thank you for your very detailed guide of where to go, it made us laugh out loud at times with your descriptions of various restaurants and were only sorry that we did not have time to sample all of them. ...Mrs Dawson We were a party for 2 to 72 and there was something for everyone. We’ll be back! ...SK Wirral We just thought to let you know that our holiday at Chez Gebbie was wonderful. We had superb weather enabling us to do much cycling, swimming and walking. Derek managed to cycle to the top of Bout du Monde but I declined !! The walks around the village and over to Soubes were also delightful. The whole area was stunning and there was so much to see and do locally. We found Chez Gebbie perfect for our needs and very comfortable, and hopefully we will return another year. ...Mr and Mrs sidgwick |
